The Moses Miracle....

What do you think about ‘The Moses Miracle’……?
As a Muslim, a Christian or other religious I’m sure you must have known about it.

From the holy Quran I’ve heard about the story of Moses Miracle.
It was began in Egypt, where the Children of Israel had found refuge with Joseph over 400 years before. The beginning of these events involved the struggle of Moses and his people had to endure under the oppression of the Pharaoh (RamsesII).
The oppression ended, however, when Moses with his stick parted the Red Sea by the permission of Allah , and then left it for Allah to close over the Pharaoh and his army.

Do you believe that the amazing natural phenomenon looked like the splitting of the Red-Sea at the time of Moses recently happened in our planet…?!
It exactly found in Jindo island, South Korea.
People also called…’The Moses Miracle’,
despite the fact that it has nothing to do with the story of Moses.

This phenomenon occurs 2 times a year during a low tide, a land path 2.8 km long and 40 meters wide that connects the island of Jindo and Modo for a few hours.

There’s a legend behind the phenomenon of the Korean's ‘Moses Miracle’.
One day a Jindo village was attacked by tigers. All the villagers ran to Modo island, except the helpless old woman who was left behind. Out of despair she prayed to the sea god, who then split the sea and helped her escape from the bloodthirsty animal.

Actually The Moses Miracle was largely unknown until 1975, when a French ambassador visited South Korea and wrote about in a French Newspaper.

Now.. The Korean's Moses Miracle was known by all people around the world….They came every year to attend the festival which dedicated to this natural wonderful phenomenon…

Hmm... there’re so many miracles happened in this earth…
And they beyond the laws of science, it was all fulfilled only by Allah's will and power.

As a muslim I just can say…
Allaahu Akbar
….!!

Happy Eid ul Adha....

Allaahu akbar....Allaahu akbar.... Allaahu akbar.....
Laa ilaaha illAllaah
Allaahu akbar,
Allaahu akbar wa li-illaahil-hamd

Happy Eid ul Adha to all people who celebrated….

Here in my place Eid ul Adha recently was soaked by heavy rain over night. According to the news, the hajj/pilgrims in Mecca this year was poured by heavy rain too and even storm…
Until the next morning, the rain was still flushed my town. So Eid ul Adha prayer which usually performed in an open area, this time was done in the mosque and the home sides wich attached the tent. However, the congregation did not reduce the concentration of the implement.

Just like other Muslims through-out the world, we celebrate the feast of Eid ul Adha by cutting the animal sacrifice. In my neighborhood most of sacrificial animals used are cows and goats, but beef remains the most, because the meat is more likable than goat meat which containing high cholesterol.

As in previous years our family also purchased a cow sacrificed joint venture with other citizens. A cow is usually valid for 7 people sacrifice, and my family as usual used to pay the sacrifice cows for 2 people. This year collected 6 cows and 5 goats from the citizens to be distributed to the entitled.
As you all known the meat from the sacrifice of Eid al-Adha is mostly given away to others. One-third is eaten by immediate family and relatives, one-third is given away to friends, and one-third is donated to the poor.

The Feast of the Sacrifice symbolizes obedience to Allah and its distribution to others is an expression of generosity, one of the five pillars of Islam.

I wish the Sacrifice will be able to further increase my faith and devotion to Allah ... Amen!

The Moment that Never Forgotten

Once in a year, I together with my family usually going back to my hometown (‘Mudik’) to visit my beloved parents.
Surely that was on Eid ul Fitr …. the time when all of my whole families gathering.
We’ve took a long distance till arrived there in CANUKUR, my hometown, the place with full of peace… the place where I always missed…

Eid ul Fitr is a muslim holiday that marks the end of ‘Ramadhan’, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
In my country Eid is also commonly known as Hari Raya Lebaran means ‘Celebration Day’.

Just like other moslims all over the world, we also celebrate that great day.
In the morning on Eid ul Fitr we attended a special Eid Prayer (Shalat Id) where performed in congregation at mosques or at an opened area.
After prayers…, we commonly greet each other with saying ‘Selamat Lebaran’ means ‘Happy Eid’ or ‘Minal Aidin wal Faidzin’ means ‘Forgive my physical and emotional (wrong-doings)’.
As you’re all known….Eid ul Fitr not just mean for celebration only, but also the time for moslim to ask for forgiveness for any sin which we may have commited but was cleaned as a result of the fasting in the holy month of ramadhan.

Before the noon growing up…we all going to visit the graves of our family members. During that visit we usually recite ‘Ya-Siin’, a chapter from the Quran, and also pray there to ask Allah to forgive the dead and those who are living for all their sins.

Truthfully…. as the time before, there’s nothing special in Eid/Lebaran this year… All things gone as usual…But we all feel happy as we’re who lives separate one another for a very long distance, that day on Eid ul Fitr we could fulfiled our missed feeling and could see each other.. chit and chat…take pictures…Whats a gathering family!

That moment I’ll never forget…

Here I posed several pics which have been taken at Lebaran/Eid ul Fitr 2009.
In these pics: My mom , my dad, my children (Vincent, Ochi, Icha, Baim), my bro (Ruby), my bro Gino with his wife Ani n their children Egi & Berry, my bro A Emin (mr Kumis) with his wife teh Iis & their children Deni, Dani & Neng… . And other family members (too much to list)….

The Beauty of CANUKUR

Canukur is a little village located at the distric of Sumedang, Jawa Barat Province, Indonesia.
This village was around by several mountains, hills, and many of rice/paddy fields...
There's also a very popular river in this village called Cipeles.

Most of people here worked at their fields as farmers... Many of them had a very kind hearted. They lived based on 'Gotong Royong' as nature. They used to work together as they help each other whenever they have alot of work to do in their fields.

Honestly... I felt excitted when I tell about this beautiful village.
Canukur... I wanna allow you as my own village.. where I even never lived, but only visit you once in a year.
However.... wherever I recently live, I'll never forget you...

Canukur... I'll always miss you!

KITARO - Matsuri

Matsuri is probably Kitaro's most wellknown piece and it is one of his best music. An astonishing song that touches the spirit and soul.

The Kitaro Mind, body, and spirit continues to be a developing organism and preparing itself to set out upon a lifetime commitment composing signature sounds, and to continue to embody the human spirit within his music, as we can now read his first published poem from 1986:

TENKU

I SEND A MESSAGE OF SOUND
TOWARD THE SKY
ENGULFING EMPTY SPACE
SORING FAR BEYOND GRASP
HIGH ABOUE MOUNTAIN TOPS
BEYOND OCEAN WAVES
STRETCHING TO REACH THE ANDES
AND LIGHTLY TOUCHING NEPAL
WATCH AS THE SOUNDS FLOW
LISTEN AS YOU FEEL THE WIND BLOW
NATURE IS COLORED WITH ROMANCE
UNFOLDING A DRAMA DAY BY DAY
PLANTS BREATH A RHYTHM
INSECTS PLAY THEIR MELODY
LIGHT FLIES AS WIND CRYS
NOW CATCH THE SOUND…FEEL THE LIGHT
BY FEELING THINGS WHICH ARE WITH LIFE
INNOCENTS RESPOND TO THE DELICATE SIGH
OF THE WORLD, WEAVING THEIR OWN DREAMS
DREAMS WHICH SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE WORLD
PEOPLE BEGIN TO SING HARMONIES OF LOVE, WORDLESS
THIS IS A BEGINNING
CONNECTING THE DREAM
TO THE COLOR OF YOUR BREATHLESS HEART
PEACE AND TRANQUILITY, YOU NEED ONLY TO SING
IT IS FOR YOU

As we could interpret, Kitaro Mind poetry is not restricted to one specific thought but encompasses all living entities that are woven together affecting a collective dream reality by feelings we call nature. Again, it should be understood that we couldn’t elaborate or speculate about another’s essence, psyche, spirituality, etc. What can be presented is personal knowledge of Mr. Takahashi through his music and his candid remarks.

Kitaro - The Silk Road

Kitaro's music is fluid and harmonic, as he blends smooth electronic lines with influences from traditional Japanese music, rock, and the romantic Western tradition. Silk Road is a phenomenal success and very possibly the best Kitaro release. There are incredible transitions throughout the pieces, making this a true masterpiece and a treasure to own.

Kitaro - Caravansary

Kitaro has noted that his purpose with his music is to calm the inner person: "The wars of the world don't come from outer space. People create them, people who have a war within themselves. I want to create music that eases that war within."

Caravansary

Once a long long time ago
setting out find our dreams
lost in memories
of golden days
sometime rising in the spring
glowing shining game the sun
golden days means
come to till return
those who know the fire burn
try to find forever the dream
try to find forever the way
My way

Caravan journey in the sky
As the sun comes out
From the day
Caravan we know
Who we are
We discover
Where we went
Oh ohh caravan
There we find the love
Love shimmering
And soon our love
Is trough

Come with me
And take my hand
Memories of
Past unfold
And with I lived
Them once again
From my fading
Heart my hand
Feel my walk
In love with him
And I wander when
The spring will come
Do we ever really
Know for sure
Will we travel
On and on
Someday we'll be
Standing up
From today

Caravan journey in the sky
As the sun comes out
From the day
Caravan we know
Who we are
We discover BIS
Where we went
Yeah caravan
There we find the love
Love shimmering
And soon our love
Is trough

Kitaro - Dance of Sarasvati

Kitaro's music is a reflection of his reverence for nature and for the world as humanity's natural habitat. "Nature inspires me," he says. "To me, some songs are like clouds, some are like water."

The beauty of nature was part of Kitaro's earliest days. He was born into a Buddhist/Shintoist farming family in Toyohashi Prefecture in Central Japan in 1953. His rural youth gave him an early feel for the simplicity and grandeur of nature. "I found a place in nature when I was very young," he recalls. "And spirituality, I was always a universalist in my outlook."
